“Karbala Incident” Seminar Held in India

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A seminar on “Karbala incident” was held on December 22 on the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Imam Sajjad (AS) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh State of India. The religious program was held between 10 am. to 2 pm. local time with the presence of Haresh Chand Dangh and Vinod Kumar Mishra, Hindu political leaders of the country as well as a number of Shia and Sunni Muslim scholars.  Speaking at the program Haresh Chand said that today enemies of Islam call Muslims terrorist that is while the objective of Imam Hussein’s (AS) uprising was to fight with terrorism.  He stressed that we should study Sahifa of Imam Sajjad (AS) which introduces Imams as the Divine leaders and messengers of peace and friendship./129
